*3。5 stars Oooofffffffff, this was a tough one to read because it hit too close to home with recent events in life。 Still so good, I cannot believe it’s taken me this long to read it!

Oh my heart。。。。。 there are no words。 It started off a little rocky for me but I was feeling all the emotions towards the end。 Though predictable and I knew what was coming, I still cried

I have extremely mixed feelings about this book。 I really liked the begging and ending, I didn’t care for the middle。 The whole concept and set up was fantastic and the ending came full circle which I can appreciate。 However, I didn’t connect or care much about the characters。 Nothing had me routing for the relationship。 The hero was also very pushy in my opinion。 The constant “I miss you” “I need you here” sending her followers, making her feel guilty for putting her career first etc。 it was al I have extremely mixed feelings about this book。 I really liked the begging and ending, I didn’t care for the middle。 The whole concept and set up was fantastic and the ending came full circle which I can appreciate。 However, I didn’t connect or care much about the characters。 Nothing had me routing for the relationship。 The hero was also very pushy in my opinion。 The constant “I miss you” “I need you here” sending her followers, making her feel guilty for putting her career first etc。 it was all a bit much for me especially when we then had his perspective and he couldn’t decided how he felt about her。 I understand that was a big part of this book, him grieving and coming to terms with his feelings but it was too much。 The lead up with the heroine trying to find the hero and the letters I loved and I kept wanting to read。 Then the ending came full circle and while sad (as many of Sparks books are) made sense and I was satisfied。 But the middle I didn’t care about or really want to keep reading。 I felt that it was a lot of show and not tell for the relationship as well as being repetitive。 。。。more
Jaya Narain,
Disappointed。The very idea of Message in a Bottle was so promising but the book did not work for me at all。The writing was laboured, stretching to fill the pages and finally, the story itself lacked any punch。

Ana,
This was a typical romantic novel, but what really threw me off guard was the ending。 I have not anticipated it at all。 It wasn't even a possibility in my head。The book was cute, romantic and quite enjoyable。 The pace was slow, but steady and I finished it pretty quick。 It was at the same time sad and full of hope。 Garret's emotions and feelings, what he was going through was so truthfully presented。 I almost felt his pain, guilt and confusion。 I wanted him to find happiness again so much。 As fo This was a typical romantic novel, but what really threw me off guard was the ending。 I have not anticipated it at all。 It wasn't even a possibility in my head。The book was cute, romantic and quite enjoyable。 The pace was slow, but steady and I finished it pretty quick。 It was at the same time sad and full of hope。 Garret's emotions and feelings, what he was going through was so truthfully presented。 I almost felt his pain, guilt and confusion。 I wanted him to find happiness again so much。 As for Theresa, I don't know how to describe her。 I felt like she was the selfish person。 Without compassion and sympathy for what he was dealing with。 She didn't deserve him。 I just couldn't understand her at times。 Losing someone is never easy, but continuing with life and moving on is much harder and painful。 Guilt。。 It can eat you up。 I will definitely read a few more books from Nicholas Sparks and I hope that they will sit me at least as well as this one。 。。。more

Without revealing any spoilers, this book will express a depth of love only Nicholas Sparks could create。 Have a box of tissues nearby, you will need them。

My heart physically aches。 I can’t put it into words。。。but I feel as if I will never be the same again after feeling this kind of heartbreak。 Dramatic or not, I don’t care。 I never expected myself to feel this way。 It’s crazy how a book can send you soaring and twisting through emotions that you haven’t felt in your life this far。 I pray I’ll never feel these particular emotions again。 Through reading, one truly does live a thousand lives。。。。Well, you did it again NS。。。I planned on watching the My heart physically aches。 I can’t put it into words。。。but I feel as if I will never be the same again after feeling this kind of heartbreak。 Dramatic or not, I don’t care。 I never expected myself to feel this way。 It’s crazy how a book can send you soaring and twisting through emotions that you haven’t felt in your life this far。 I pray I’ll never feel these particular emotions again。 Through reading, one truly does live a thousand lives。。。。Well, you did it again NS。。。I planned on watching the movie after reading this book, but I doubt that the movie will do this book any justice。。。 。。。more
